Deltek is seeking new colleagues to join the WorkBook development team, which currently comprises 20 engineers based in Denmark, Poland, and the Philippines. Product Overview:

Deltek WorkBook is a comprehensive agency management system designed to streamline projects, people, and finances from end-to-end in a single, cloud-based solution. Built by agency veterans, WorkBook provides best-practice solutions to help grow your company, achieve digital transformation, manage a distributed workforce, and build a foundation for business growth and maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Drive the design and development of innovative features, enhance existing functionalities, and resolve complex bugs.
• Automated Testing: Create and maintain automated tests (unit and functional) to ensure high-quality code.
• Performance Optimization: Debug and profile features to optimize performance and reliability.
• Architecture Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of WorkBook’s end-to-end architecture, focusing on front-end functionalities and components.
• Collaboration: Work with Product Management, Customer Care, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and define system specifications.
• Solution Planning: Contribute to planning and designing solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Global Team Coordination: Work hours will primarily overlap with Central European Time office hours to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with the global team.

Technical Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with SaaS ERP solutions.
• Expertise in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with knowledge of asynchronous front-end development techniques.
• Working knowledge of T-SQL and C#.
• Solid understanding of Git for version control.
• Ability to debug and profile the performance of front-end applications running in a browser.
• Other Qualifications:
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative.
• Ability to commute to the Deltek office in Bengaluru when needed is a plus.
• Ability to occasionally travel to Denmark where most of the WorkBook team is based.
