About the Role

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a proactive Web3 developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building decentralized applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Node.js, with knowledge of Solidity being a desirable plus. You should have a strong passion for Web3 technologies, and participating in hackathons or contributing to personal Web3 projects is highly valued. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with tech writers to produce clear and thorough documentation, and you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by contributing articles and posts about the projects you work on. We look for people who are always willing to learn new things and take on new challenges.

You will work alongside blockchain gurus and smart open-minded ‘Rooties’ across cross-functional teams, working in web3 and on the cutting edge of technology.

What You’ll be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain Web3 applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Implement and optimize smart contracts (Solidity is a plus).
• Participate in design of new projects and code reviews, contribute to best practices within the team, and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative Web3 products.
• Improve the user experience of our technologies, making it very easy for users to run their solutions on top of Rootstock.
• Write clear technical documentation for development processes and codebases.
• Collaborate with tech writers to ensure documentation is accurate and user-friendly.
• Contribute to blogs and articles explaining technical solutions and product features.
• Participate in Web3 hackathons and contribute to open-source projects.
• Stay updated on Web3 ecosystem trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

• Collaborate effectively in English, with Spanish as a valuable plus.
• Possess knowledge about Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other major blockchain networks (not mandatory).
• Ensure a user-centered approach in the development process, prioritizing intuitive and functional solutions.
• Engage in collaborative problem-solving and open communication with cross-functional teams.
• Stay informed on Web3 ecosystem trends, sharing insights that drive product and community improvements.
