Lathe Operator –Northern Iron Location: St Paul MN
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00/hour plus an $2.00 for shift differential pay
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday–Thursday 2pm-1230am (Mandatory OT on Fridays When Required)

 Northern Iron Machine (NIM) is seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our team in St Paul MN. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented professional looking to build a long-term career in a growing company that values craftsmanship and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate lathes and related machining equipment safely and efficiently

· Use measuring tools such as micrometers and tape measures to ensure accuracy

· Perform routine inspections of tooling and finished parts

· Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment

· Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts

Qualifications:

· 2–5 years of experience operating lathes or similar equipment

· High school diploma or technical diploma in a related field preferred

· Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles

· Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
