Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech Sector in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your presence and attention will contribute to a secure environment, as you interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This post is a driving position, requiring a valid driver’s license as part of your responsibilities. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor and report unusual activity or potential threats within the location, taking appropriate action as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in a technology, media, or telecommunications setting.
• Complete daily activity reports and other documentation related to security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
