POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Construction Manager at LJA Land Development, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction management services for our Land Division. You will supervise inspectors, ensure quality control, and maintain seamless communication between project managers, contractors, and inspection staff to deliver successful project outcomes.

Salary: $115,000 - $125,000

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Supervising and coordinating activities of project representatives and inspectors
• Scheduling and assigning projects to inspection staff
• Serving as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and inspectors
• Attending on-site and pre-construction meetings as needed
• Conducting periodic QA/QC visits to active construction sites
• Reviewing construction plans and contract documents for constructability
• Coordinating with CAG on processing contract documents, pay estimates, and project completion materials.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or related field
• Strong communication and leadership skills

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

• Experience managing land development projects from start to finish
• Working knowledge of contract administration and QA/QC processes
• Ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
