About the Team 

Growth Marketing (GM) organization is responsible for enabling all things related to sustainable and efficient marketing traffic, conversion, retention, and growth at Coupang. We are one of the largest performance advertisers in the World and have invested in a full funnel marketing tech stack powered through 11+ platforms across areas. Growth Product is the product management arm of Growth Marketing and is supported by dedicated Growth Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science and Analytics team within the larger GM org.  

 

Role Overview 

Coupang Partners is the largest traffic monetization platform in South Korea. Launched in 2018, it helps publishers, app developers, social influencers and bloggers monetize their traffic through millions of products available on Coupang. Thousands of partners use capabilities ranging from simple links and banners to Machine Learning powered dynamic widgets and SDKs to direct their audience to relevant products and earn from qualifying purchases 

This role is pivotal in enhancing our marketing strategies and expanding our partner network, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing the value delivered to our partners.  

You will identify, evaluate and develop strategic partnerships that enhance Coupang’s product offerings. Foster relationships with new and existing partners to expand the network.  

The right candidate will possess a strong product management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large products and projects, will have rich background in programmatic display advertising, and will have a well-rounded background partnering with business, engineering, and ML teams.  

 

What we are looking for 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing and Information Services or related quantitative fields  
  • 4+ years of product management or program management experience in Ad Tech industry with 2+ year experience in end-to-end product delivery  
  • Strong understanding of Programmatic ecosystem, Exchanges and publisher side technologies. 
  • Understanding of Open RTB API protocol will be preferred.  
  • Architectural understanding of how monetization platforms can be built and adopted to a market based on the traffic eco-system. 
  • Ability to lead, influence, communicate and work across organization.  
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, resourcing needs to achieve goals and effectively advocating for those.
