What You’ll Do

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a vital role in our team’s success by balancing prospecting and account management:

Prospecting

  • Connect with New Clients: Identify and reach out to potential customers through calls, emails, and networking.
  • Understand Their Needs: Listen to prospective clients and align our solutions to their logistics challenges.
  • Close Deals: Convert opportunities into results, providing tailored logistics solutions that meet customer expectations.

Account Management

  • Build Long-Term Relationships: Develop strong connections with both current and prospective clients, gaining insight into their unique needs.
  • Be the Go-To Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring smooth communication, consistent service, and high satisfaction levels.
  • Deliver Value Beyond Sales: Anticipate client needs, offer proactive solutions, and ensure Bailey’s Logistics is always exceeding their expectations.

Freight-Focused Sales

  • The core of this role involves selling freight services, including Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Full-Truckload (FTL) solutions.
  • You’ll also have opportunities to sell other logistics services, such as warehousing and delivery, adding value for your clients. While the majority of your focus will be on freight, your ability to understand and offer a range of logistics solutions will set you apart.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments and deliver on our promises to clients.
