Job Title: Social Media & Content Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Annual Salary: $70,000
The Savage Lovecast is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Social Media & Content Manager to oversee social strategy, video/content editing, scheduling, and reporting for our digital platforms. The Savage Lovecast is a weekly call in sex and relationship advice podcast that consistently ranks in the top 10 sexuality podcasts globally.
This role requires strong communication skills, hands-on editing capabilities, and the ability to balance day-to-day execution with bigger-picture strategy. Must be okay with sex and relationship content, and being exposed to views different than your own.This position ensures social content is consistently polished, on-brand, and ready to publish on time, and that strategy and feedback are clearly communicated and acted upon. The person in this role will develop reports which provide meaningful insights that guide decision-making. Additionally, they will be building behind the scenes systems and processes which are documented and manageable, reducing reliance on ad-hoc fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management & Editing
- Review, edit, and refine copy and video content provided by internal teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Capcut, Riverside, Premiere, etc.
- Manage social content calendars, including day-of scheduling, posting, and last-minute edits.
- Create supplemental content such as video covers, quote posts, and supporting graphics.
- Social Strategy & Listening
- Develop and refine social media strategies aligned with brand voice and audience expectations.
- Monitor platforms for engagement, feedback, and brand reputation.
- Provide constructive insights and suggestions to improve reach, engagement, and sentiment.
- Reporting & Meetings
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly social performance reports.
- Lead (or support) weekly meetings with the Savage team, providing updates and insights.
- Crisis Management & Troubleshooting
- Respond quickly to urgent account issues, including scams, hacks, or security concerns.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure account access and backup processes are in place.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Strong skills in copy editing, video editing, and content creation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable navigating shifting priorities and last-minute changes.
- Familiarity with creating short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and ability to collaborate with editorial/video contributors.
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a sense of humor.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote and in-office work. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend coverage depending on social media needs.
