Trissential is hiring a Test Lead to join our client’s team and spearhead testing efforts for their renewable energy integration and grid reliability initiative. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage testing efforts for the AVPP project, including SIT and UAT phases
- Write, execute, and oversee manual test cases (no automation required)
- Facilitate daily or twice-daily testing meetings with cross-functional teams
- Maintain and manage JIRA space, dashboards, and testing documentation
- Report testing status to project managers and leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external software vendors
- Support workshops, go-lives, and other critical project milestones
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 7–10+ years of experience in software testing and QA leadership
- Strong communication and executive presence
- Proven ability to run meetings and report to senior leadership
- Hands-on experience with JIRA setup and execution
- Familiarity with waterfall methodology
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Background in regulatory or process-heavy industries
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with real-time control systems, IoT, or optimization algorithms for complex, geographically distributed assets (e.g., in logistics, smart manufacturing, building management systems or utility infrastructure
- ADERMS Aggregator Virtual Power Plant (AVPP)
- Experience managing testers and coordinating across multiple teams
- Exposure to virtual power plant or energy trading platforms
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits!$102 000–$122 000 annually or $60–$70 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography
