Job Description
Safety & Environment
- Report any type of incident that occurs within LMR immediately to the responsible authorities.
- Follow the guidelines established in accordance with the Security Policies that are governed within the LEGO Group.
- Actively participate in the drills and safety-related activities carried out at the plant.
- Comply in a timely manner with the established processes and procedures related to the care and maintenance of the environment, including the correct disposal of waste selected as recyclable, as well as making good use of resources such as water and electricity, reporting the lack of resources to carry out the processes correctly and reporting suggestions for improvement focused on caring for the environment.
- Ensure 5's execution.
- Confirm that team members are doing ergonomic exercises.
- Confirm that people are following safety standards and escalate/report to supervisor in case of non-compliance i.e. Correct use of PPE.
Quality
- Process Confirmation to ensure quality in key activities
- Fix Here and Now (SQDCP)
- Provide Troubleshooting Support (SQDCP). (When required).
- Communicate any KPIs in red. (When required).
- Address and escalate any issues that get out of hand. Make sure you have clear expectations with your direct manager.
- Confirm processes frequently in key processes in the team, focusing on S-Q-D.
- Conduct 5'S audits
Delivery
- Make a correct delivery/reception of shift (machines, people, information, material, change over, planning, etc.)
- Accountability (Supervisor)
- Flexing coordination of team members
- Confirm that TPM tasks are completed on time.
- Follow up and pay attention to the causes that generate delays in delivery of products and follow the escalation procedure when applicable.
- Provide support with participation in the operation if necessary.
- Generate ideas for improvement that impact the output indicator
Cost
- Track and report scrap-related events.
- Inform the immediate leader if you do not have the complete HeadCount to operate (MANING BOARD).
- Motivate the team to continuously seek improvements and remove waste from processes.
People
- Encourage teamwork
- Hold daily meetings with the team
- Give instructions to team members
- Feedback to team members
- Coordinate tasks in contingencies knowing the strengths of team members
- Train your team in technical skills.
- Induction to the new staff area
- Training Management & Administration
- Daily update of training programs and plans
- Application of evaluations and training confirmation to trainees
- Ensure communication is understood and escalated in a timely manner.
- Ensure that team members meet the skills of their job and report to the immediate boss in case this is not met.
- Provide feedback to the immediate leader on the performance and behaviors of team members
- Replace and/or be replaced by a Team Leader only if absolutely necessary
