Overview:

Performs general accounting assignments at a professional level in support of the accounting function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supports various tasks including managing costs, tracking fixed asset additions, preparing month-end financial statements, and reconciling accounts.
  2. Creates reports to summarize and predict company business activities and financial status in terms of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, current, and expected operations.
  3. Engages in audits as necessary.
  4. Examines financial data detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and compiles balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  5. Prepares and evaluates weekly proforma income statements.
  6. Assists with cash flow forecasting.
  7. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Job Skills Requirements

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications designed for general accounting.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of related experience or training.
