💼 Position: Financial Consultant

As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for the creation, execution, and refinement of financial analyses, accounting processes, reporting, reimbursement strategies, and fundraising activities. This role plays a key part in supporting finance and accounting operations that drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:
📌 Key Responsibilities
Financial & Business Support
- Assist with business planning, budgeting (operating & capital), and accounting processes.
- Support cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.
Data & Reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely data for strategic decisions and compliance.
- Ensure internal and external financial reports are precise and reliable.
Project Management
- Provide resources and expertise to complete finance-related projects effectively and on time.
Attendance & Compliance
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance in line with Orlando Health policies and legal standards (ADA, FMLA, etc.).
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required experience
Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in:
- Financial analysis and planning
- Accounting and reimbursement
- Public or philanthropic accounting/finance
- Consulting
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and database programs (e.g., Excel, financial systems)
Licensure/Certification
- CPA preferred
- Advanced degree may substitute for partial experience
