The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payment flows, funds settlement, and operational risk in a fast-paced, high-volume payments environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available and transferred in a timely manner to meet settlement obligations for customer transactions, vendor payments, and network requirements.

  • Prepare, review, and execute fund movement instructions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and real-time payment transactions.

  • Track settlement cycles and ensure compliance with contractual settlement timeframes and SLAs with payment partners.

  • Reconcile incoming and outgoing payments with internal ledgers and partner reports to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.

  • Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment on cash management, liquidity planning, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support investigations into any failed, delayed, or misrouted payments and assist in resolving operational payment issues with partners.

  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all fund transfers and settlement activities for audit and reporting purposes.

  • Assist in developing and enhancing operational processes, controls, and reporting related to funds movement and payment services.

  • Provide data and insights for reporting on daily liquidity, transaction volumes, and partner settlement performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time-sensitive financial transactions.

  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with payment or treasury management systems.

  • Excellent communication skills for working with both internal teams and external payment partners.
