Engagement Project Manager en Athey Creek Church

Position Summary: The Engagement Project Manager will assist with overseeing Watch Parties, promoting their care, and creating the infrastructure for scalability. The Engagement Project Manager will be the lead project manager over the PDX Crusade. This individual will also assist the Director of the Crusade with organizing, managing, and executing projects from beginning to end. The Engagement Project Manager is committed to Athey Creek and supports the church’s vision, mission, and leadership team.  

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Agree to ACC’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
• Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines
• High strategic, planning, and coordinating abilities
• Self-starter who can work independently but appreciates being part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
• Excellent knowledge of Mac-based systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive
• Previous experience leading a team of volunteers and staff toward a common goal
• A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a similar degree is preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Engagement to oversee Watch Parties to ensure all aspects align with ACC’s vision and mission
• Responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and with excellence
• Assist the Director of Engagement in creating a digital strategy for shepherding and discipleship within the watch party community
• Collaborate with the communication team to produce content relating to the online church and Watch Parties
• Recruit, train, and build a team of volunteers structured to ensure quality care for attendees
• Build, foster, and sustain the Watch Party communities
• Work alongside the Director of Engagement to measure the engagement and ensure alignment with ACC standards and best practices in all areas of ministry
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project outcome
• All other duties as assigned
