DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU RN for our Walnut Creek location. This position will work 1-2 days/week, Monday - Friday.
In this position, you will:
- Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
- Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
- Experience with total joint and spine surgeries required
Pay Range: $60.00 - $85.00/hour
