Supervisor I – Early Childhood Education bei Lake Elsinore Unified School District

Under the supervision of the Director of Instructional Support Services, the Preschool Education Specialist will assist in the overall program quality of the Children and Family Services preschool programs. He/she may serve as the acting Director when the Director is not on site. The Specialist must maintain close cooperation and communication between parents, staff, and other personnel to improve the overall program quality. They must exercise considerable professional judgment and autonomy in decision making, planning and organizational skills.

Experience Required: At least three (3) years of direct experience working in the Early Childhood field within the past two years. One (1) or more years of experience as a supervisor or administrator preferred. 2. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field. 3. Licenses, Certifications, Testing Required: Possession of a valid California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit; Valid CA Driver’s License and evidence of insurability; Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, and negative pre-employment drug screen test / negative TB results (upon hire). $72,013 - $83,483 plus $1,200 Doctoral Annual Stipend and excellent fringe benefits package
