SCOPE OF WORK: 

Purpose of this position is to develop, implement and maintain standard reports to monitor accessibility and timeliness of services utilizing the Accucare case management system. The scope of this role is to enhance and oversee the data entry process, data quality review and other initiatives to ensure high quality data for program reports.

 

SUPERVISION:  The Data coordinator will work under the supervision of Director, who will provide, guidance, direction and conduct required performance evaluations. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide referral services to appropriate agencies based on level of care of client.
  2. Consult treatment team and submit referrals based on substance use disorder evaluation for either residential in-patient and/or out-patient program.
  3. Update all clientele files on a weekly and monthly basis utilizing the Accucare Case management system.
  4. Develop, implement and maintain standard reports to monitor accessibility and timeliness of services utilizing the Accucare case management system.
  5. Enhance and oversight of data quality review process, data entry training support, and other initiatives to ensure high quality data.
  6. Conduct training for staff on administrative and programmatic requirements.
  7. Create and maintain an SUD network provider manual of relevant policies, program and administrative requirements and make available for staff.
  8. Strictly adhere to confidentiality, 42CFR and code of Ethics of the Standing Rock Treatment Program.
  9. Conduct DUI Seminar sessions for clients and maintain appropriate records.
  10. Conduct Aftercare sessions with clients who have successfully completed treatment.
  11. Conduct substance use disorder evaluations as needed in accordance with the Standing Rock Treatment Program Policy and Procedure Manual.
  12. Prepare and conduct up to (two) lectures per week regarding substance use disorder topics.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two-year degree in human services, social work or related social science field with two (2) year’s work experience in treatment of substance use disorders, counseling or related field preferred. Will consider a combination of education and experience in gathering data for a Tribal community based program, case management, social service program, or related field. 
  2. Solid computer operation with data entry skills and efficiency in Microsoft (Word, excel, power point, outlook) applications.
  3. Possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate professionalism; maintain tact, courtesy, composure and flexibility when dealing with a variety of personalities.
  4. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  5. Ability to meet eligibility requirements and criteria for certification in substance use disorders in accordance with program standards and training plans.
  6. Must possess a valid driver’s license 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Demonstrate effective knowledge of the Standing Rock Treatment Program’s Policies and Procedures Manual, DSM5, and ASAM Criteria.
  2. Demonstrate compliance with program sobriety clause and have maintained two (2) years of continuous recovery.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of Native American culture and customs.

No tribal housing is available.  Position is located at the Day Treatment Office, Fort Yates, ND.
