Chineses Brush Painting / Calligraphy Instructor - FUHSD Adult School at Fremont Union High School District

We are seeking a teacher with extensive experience in teaching Chinese Brush Painting and Chinese Calligraphy. Ideally, this teacher would be available to lead the Monday Chinese Calligraphy class from 6-8 PM for eight weeks, and the Tuesday Chinese Brush Painting class from 10 AM-12 PM for eight weeks beginning in January 2026. The ideal candidate would be available to teach classes throughout the year, specifically during our five terms: two in fall, two in winter/spring, and one in the summer. We also hope the teacher possesses an understanding of the history of these art forms and a passion for fostering a community within the classroom.
