The Opportunity
Adobe Lightroom has created amazing tools which enabled photographers to create and showcase their best work. Lightroom on mobile is a powerful app used by millions of people who love photography.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will join us on our ongoing us enhance Adobe's mobile photography applications and enable photographers at all skill levels.
What you'll do
- You will work independently and collaboratively within a wonderful Quality Engineering team, using clear, positive, and constructive communication and decision-making.
- Become an authority in the Lightroom Mobile iOS Growth campaigns and features while working closely with QE peers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers in defining and developing features.
- Define quality standards and build a cohesive strategy for testing Lightroom features. Perform functional and workflow testing including end-to-end testing as part of the Lightroom ecosystem, using a variety of testing tools.
- Participate in user reviews and forums management.
- Implement plans for defining and improving quality metrics and work with the team to help evolve and drive software quality and delivery process improvements.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least five years experience testing mobile software.
- Passion for software quality with a mastery in manual exploratory testing iOS apps and cross-product workflows.
- Expertise with agile software development methodologies and a real passion for building world-class applications that customers love.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using HTML, JIRA, Charles Proxy, XCode, GitHub, Jenkins, Splunk, Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Branch.io and analytics tools like Adobe Analytics / Omniture, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Crashlytics is preferred.
- Experience with data driven development methodologies,mobile A/B testing techniques.
- Experience setting up or testing Adobe Journey Optimizer in-app message or push notification campaigns.
- Experience testing deep links.
Bonus Experience
- Photography and/or Adobe Lightroom experience.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
