Responsibilities:
- Layout, fabricate and assemble piping systems in industrial environments for the conveyance of fluids and gases including a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings including iron, steel, copper and plastic.
- Use various hand tools for cutting, bending, threading, soldering, grooving and joining pipes, valves and fittings.
- Perform leak tests, inspections and periodic maintenance on mechanical piping systems.
- Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Actively participate in safety programs and report any hazards.
- Work alongside other technicians, engineers, and teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical piping systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a pipefitter or similar role working with mechanical systems in industrial environments.
- Journeyman Plumber License is a plus (But not required)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and travel as needed.
