CMC:Berkshires is our private 15-bed residential treatment center on 200 peaceful acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. About the Role

We’re currently hiring Recovery Specialists (RS) for 1st and 2nd shifts. This is an incredible opportunity to work directly with clients in recovery and to grow within a respected evidence-based treatment setting. We’re looking for mature, responsible, and caring individuals who enjoy connecting with others and contributing to a supportive community. This role offers meaningful, hands-on experience in behavioral health—ideal for those interested in pursuing careers in psychology, social work, counseling, or related fields.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide daily support and structure to clients
• Assist with meals, activities, and transportation (valid driver’s license required).
• Communicate observations across the treatment team
• Model kindness and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. 
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm in dynamic environments.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• Availability for AM shifts (6:45am-3:00pm) and/or PM shifts (2:45–11:00pm) including Friday or Saturday evenings.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting rate: $20/hour (with potential for increase after 6 months)

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit for periods of 10 hours
• Ability to and comfortable with working independently
• Ability to and comfortable with driving a mini-van
• Ability to lift, push, pull weight of 50 lbs.
