Talent Acquisition Specialist bei FCC Environmental Services

Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role will focus on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for field and corporate roles across our operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of recruiting experience and be comfortable with up to 50% travel to our various locations to support hiring needs and build strong relationships with local teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source and screen candidates for a wide range of roles, including drivers, technicians, operations staff, and administrative positions.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
• Attend hiring events, career fairs, and job expos to promote our company and connect with potential talent.
• Develop relationships with trade schools, community organizations, and local employment agencies.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
• Travel regularly (up to 50%) to support field recruiting efforts and hiring events.

Job Qualifications

Education:

• High School diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience and Competencies:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a high-volume or field-based environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to various sites, often on short notice.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (Workday experience preferred).
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience recruiting in the waste management, logistics, construction, or industrial services sectors.
• Familiarity with high volume, CDL drivers and technicians hiring is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong asset.
