Consumer Loan Funder bei Sidney Federal Credit Union

Working in our fast-paced department your primary role will be assisting our lenders with the completion, disbursement, and auditing of approved loan, set up new accounts and assisting with a variety of necessary lending functions.

Reporting: Onsite reporting expectations to our home office in Sidney, NY.

Pay: $21.31 - $23.97 per hour

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

-Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and completeness prior to loan funding
-Fund direct and indirect consumer loans according to established procedures and guidelines
-Disburse loan proceeds accurately, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and
policies.

-Maintain accurate member account information in the LOS and Core System
-Ensure all loan records are complete and up to date

-Assist other departments with loan-related inquiries and documentation needs.
-Serve as a resource to internal staff regarding consumer loan funding procedures.

-Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills Good listening and telephone skills; able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard; able to make decisions with minimum information.
