The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is seeking a passionate, innovative, and experienced Director to lead our Community Fusion programs. This individual will oversee all aspects of Community Fusion - ensuring high-quality, person- and family-directed services that promote community inclusion, volunteerism, citizenship, and personal growth for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure efficient and smooth program operations.

  • Foster positive relationships with participants, families, staff, and community partners.

  • Ensure person-centered planning and quality service delivery for all program participants.

  • Implement and monitor risk management strategies that support participant health and safety.

  • Oversee compliance with all agency, state, and federal regulations, including HCBS and Chapter 51.

  • Supervise the Associate Director and ensure staff are trained, supported, and accountable.

  • Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets.

  • Maintain program documentation in accordance with Department of Human Services, ODP, and Chapter 2380 requirements.

  • Serve as the Incident Manager for Community Fusion programs and prepare required reports.

  • Oversee hiring, performance, and professional development of program staff.

  • Support innovative service delivery through communication systems, visual strategies, and positive behavior supports.

  • Maintain current Certified Investigator status and conduct investigations as required.

  • Oversee participant admissions and discharges.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and provide support during emergencies.

  • Represent the program at internal and external meetings, committees, and professional trainings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience providing services to adults with intellectual disabilities.

    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a Department of Human Services (DPW) licensed program.

    • Experience working with families of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with DPW/ODP/ID service systems, HCBS, and Chapter 51 regulations.

  • Preferred: Background in communication systems, positive behavior supports, Everyday Lives principles, and budget management.

  • Other Requirements: Excellent communication and leadership skills; valid Pennsylvania driver's license required.
