The Director of Program Management Pharma Relations leads and oversees the Program Management team. This leader plays a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining successful relationships with assigned customers, ensuring alignment with both customer and company objectives. This role involves intricate coordination with various stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors, to deliver solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the healthcare industry. From overseeing program development to facilitating contractual agreements, the Director of Program Management is instrumental in driving program success and maximizing client satisfaction. Responsibilities included:
- Serve as the leader for the Program Managers while maintaining a few key strategic accounts.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with clients, enhancing client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine program strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Participate in Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and storage of relevant documentation.
- Conduct and support Program Manager’s Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and strategize with Vice President of Industry Relations to ensure manufacturer partner programs and corporate goals are aligned.
- Proactively outreach, build, and maintain strong customer-focused relationships with targeted pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Responsible for participation of ongoing contract negotiations and managing related contract and service agreements for new business development opportunities.
- Facilitate communication between clients, project sponsors, and internal teams to ensure business needs are met.
- Deliver engaging presentations and status reports, providing stakeholders with comprehensive project updates.
- Analyze program processes to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and expense reduction.
- Collaborate on technical solutions to address complex challenges, aligning with organizational objectives.
- Lead strategic meetings with industry partners, fostering collaboration and driving program success.
- Evaluate operational issues to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry trends.
- Ensure timely completion of all required duties, projects, and reports as directed by leadership.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards, mitigating risks associated with program operations.
- Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in account management or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving program outcomes.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
