Compensation
$125,600 - $157,000
Exempt IT&S grade 18

The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. What you’ll do
- Provide technical and process leadership to the architecture teams, IT and the enterprise including being conversant with and cognizant of the future direction of systems, how that direction will impact the enterprise and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the enterprise.
- Recognize and identify potential areas where existing standards, policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
- Provides technical expertise in multiple database technology areas.
- Perform analysis of business requirements and the impact to infrastructure.
- Prepare architecture diagrams of data infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize queries and cloud platform services
- Shares responsibility for meeting and providing input to applicable service levels.
- Shares responsibility for cost benefit analysis summaries as required on assigned projects.
- Work with senior management to balance cost and service objectives of the business.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Detailed formal technical training in database management methodologies, systems, tools and data platforms (DB2, SQL Server, Hadoop, Cloudera, Synapse).
- Detailed knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL tools (Informatica Power Center).
- Detailed knowledge of data modeling, data governance and/or data security concepts.
- Detailed knowledge of Cloud based application and data environments.
- General knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Query Management Facility)
- General knowledge of messaging and event driven architecture
- Effective communicator and collaborator with experience working cross-functionally with analyst, product managers, developers, vendor support, and external partners.
What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s or master’s degree with emphasis in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology and Services required
- Minimum 2 years of this experience in a senior or leadership role performing complex data management problem solving and infrastructure support required
