Summary: 

The Lending Applications Analyst performs tasks associated with technology projects that accomplish the continuous development and improvement of computer-based systems in support of all lending activities within Teachers.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • B.S. or B.A. in Business Administration, Information Technology or IT-related field required
  • Minimum two years technology experience, preferably in financial lending application systems support, required
  • Experienced in computer systems use and implementation, as well as database functions, implementations and queries required
  • Knowledge of any Loan Origination application preferred
  • Scripting experience such as Python, Perl, Shell or Batch preferred
  • Strong understanding of SQL, databases (MS SQL Server, or Oracle)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Project and task management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of automated systems, evolving technologies, project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Completes assignments to accomplish project objectives of organizational effectiveness and efficiency by communicating and coordinating activities
  • Interact with vendor software packages insuring they meet the requirements of Teachers, while monitoring and reporting progress on project objectives to management
  • Installs and monitors computer system upgrades and fixes as directed
  • Performs system/application testing to ensure proper functioning
  • Monitor scheduled jobs for batch processing
  • Executes ad-hoc SQL queries on various databases
  • Provides technical advice and guidance to employees to overcome difficulties during their interaction with lending systems
  • Generate documentation for procedures and practices
  • Performs various tasks using batch, scripting and other methods
  • Performs other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $31.50 - $37.50/hr. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. 

 

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
