Job Purpose
Organize and automate the HALO maintenance workload to minimize tunnel down time and help better predict budgets for major maintenance and replacement. Work with the team to design, develop and instal new equipment and facilities as business needs dictate.
Key Accountabilities
- Maximo SME: Work with team members and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to develop initial concept, budget, specification, design, procurement scope, construction, and installation-related documents. Communicate and work with department team members, and overseeing the construction of projects
- Project management: Manage work to ensure all deliverables comply with associated contract documents, codes and regulations, industry standards, and Honda standards, as applicable.
- Service contract management: Arrange and manage appropriate contracted services support, as needed. Ensure all work meets or exceeds defined organization targets, including health and safety, environmental, quality, cost, schedule, and confidentiality criteria.
- Safety and Environmental lead: Coordinate operational procedures for wind tunnel and antenna lab maintenance. This includes repair, replacement and maintenance procedures, modes and timelines for equipment required for current and future technologies for Honda and 3rd Party customers. Create and Execute Maintenance Safety procedures for all equipment at HALO. Investigation any safety or environmental incident at HALO and propose c/m’s.
- Operations support: Assist HALO Operations in order to gain an overall understanding of how the tunnel operates to improve associate knowledge for required tasks above
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering field or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic 2D CAD tools
- Basic knowledge of Maximo or other asset management software
Working Conditions
- Office environment with some exposure to test and tunnel equipment
- May have to support 2nd or 3rd shift <2% of the time
- Some travel may be required >5% of the time
- Must be able to work in a team environment
