We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Specialist (Development and Administration) to join our Data and Analytics team. This hands-on role combines advanced dashboard development with enterprise-level Power BI administration and governance. You will play a key part in Western’s ongoing cloud data modernization journey, enabling enterprise-wide reporting, automation, and self-service analytics.
Here is what a typical day looks like
Power BI Development & Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models that support decision-making across executive, management, and operational teams.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, intuitive, and interactive visualizations that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver reporting solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Apply best practices in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling to ensure high performance, accuracy, and scalability.
