We are seeking a new member to add to our Warehouse team. Our 500,000 square foot newly renovated warehouse is located in Marion, South Carolina. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing?


Position Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operations Lead who will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective warehouse processes within the forklift department. This leadership role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage a team to meet productivity and safety goals.

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the forklift department.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate and optimize warehouse processes to meet operational goals and improve efficiency.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and maintain high levels of performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily workflow.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse best practices to improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance safety.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to forklift performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a team, provide clear direction, and motivate employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of WMS software is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Forklift certification (preferred).
