Role Description:
LST Group is seeking an energetic, highly driven Cradle to Grave Reefer Operations Manager, for our Tampa or Atlanta locations, to support our rapidly expanding customer base of Food, Beverage, Produce, and Flower shippers. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of and expanding our services with existing and new clients. You will provide the best solutions for our company to support our clients’ freight transportation goals while ensuring we deliver outstanding service & communication to LST customers.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of and expanding our services with existing and new clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the customer to manage the full lifecycle of shipments from quoting rates to building loads to scheduling pickup and delivery appointments.
- Communicate effectively with customers with respect to order needs, pickup and delivery times, any issues in transit or with appointment times, etc.
- Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve any service-related issues.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, focusing on retention and revenue growth.
- Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards.
- Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding service offerings within current accounts.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and industry regulations specific to vehicle transport.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for all orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates into TMS and internal databases.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics procedures.
- Well versed in refrigerated transportation and the needs of reefer shippers.
- Experience shipping produce, frozen food, food service company pickup and delivery requirements, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
