Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs general maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples include repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. Examples include cleaning, washing, mowing, weed eating, sweeping, etc.
• Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

LICENSES REQUIRED: Regular Class “E” Driver’s license.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular attendance is required during your scheduled shift.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, dusty, and foggy working conditions depending on the weather.
• Must be able to work in all positions (overhead, kneeling, reaching, crawling & working in small workspaces).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
