Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
- Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles with precision and efficiency.
- Place and retrieve freight in and from designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Build cargo onto aircraft units according to airline specifications, prioritizing safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Complete documentation accurately to record details and movement of freight, mail, and equipment, maintaining meticulous records.
- Conduct necessary checks on imports and exports to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements, including security and regulatory protocols.
To be successful in this role you will need:-
- Excellent command of the English language in both written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license, demonstrating the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Forklift experience and certificates is mandatory, as it will be advantageous for handling cargo efficiently.
- Proficiency in manual handling of heavy goods, showcasing physical strength and capability to lift and move items as required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, as our business operates 24/7 to meet customer demands and deadlines.
