Job Summary
This is an overnight shift position. Under direction of the Program Manger, the CRC provides direct patient care, supervision, and support. The overnight CRC completes overnight administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations for the following day. Successful candidates will provide direct patient care through supervision and support in accordance with current treatment plan. They will establish relationships with patients that are helpful and maintain professional boundaries. They communicate information regarding patient milieu/therapeutic environment to appropriate staff in a timely manner.Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions
-Provides direct patient care in accordance with current treatment plan, under the supervisor of the program manager.
-Provides and supervises community activities according to needs
-Remains awake and alert, at all times, while on the job.
-Assists patients in maintaining and keeping various appointments.
-Clear, concise, and timely documentation and shift notes.
-Establishes relationships with patients that are helpful and maintains professional boundaries.
-Participates in patient status checks.
-Completes assigned patient care tasks per program guidelines and/or daily assignment sheet.
-Works effectively to manage the therapeutic milieu.
-Provides patients with direction and supervision as needed.
-Follows established hospital & program policies, procedures, and protocols.
-Communicates information regarding patient milieu/therapeutic environment to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
-Communicates observations related to medication side effects, physical and emotional changes to appropriate medical staff in a timely manner.
-Encourage patients in their activities of daily living.
-Assesses sleep patterns and assists patients to develop more appropriate sleep cycles notifying clinical team as necessary.
-Completes mandatory annual in-service requirements, including but not limited to: CPR and de-escalation.
-Physical ability for participation in patient activities.
-Other duties as assigned.
