ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the embroidery production process to ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This hands-on role involves working closely with embroidery operators and the production coordinator to improve workflow, maintain high logo quality, and ensure proper execution of planned orders. The Team Leader manages the workload within their area, supports team productivity, and helps resolve any production issues that arise. Success in this role requires strong embroidery knowledge, effective communication, leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist embroidery operators with machine operation, troubleshooting, and various decoration techniques.
• Set up embroidery machines and frame garments with proper backing to ensure efficient production.
• Communicate effectively with the Production Coordinator regarding workflow and issues.
• Coach team members to improve production efficiency and output quality.
• Conduct quality inspections and address errors or customer complaints as needed.
• Monitor operator performance to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform hands-on production tasks for 25% to 50% of the workday, or as required by demand.
• Print and organize work orders to support efficient unpacking and production workflows.
• Train and onboard new embroidery operators.
• Provide backup support to supervisors when required.
• Support production planning and assist with staging orders.

Requirements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

• Must be cross-trained and proficient in operating both flat and tubular embroidery machines
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE COMPUTER SKILLS

• Experience embroidery Operator, minimum of 3-5 years of experience 
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable communicating in Spanish, Polish, and English (fluency preferred).
• Ability to read labels and numbers accurately.
• Comfortable standing for long periods during work shifts.

May be required to have a valid driver’s license and meet Vantage Driver Approval requirements.
