Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who desires to join a growing organization and has an appetite for diverse, technically challenging work.

The MD&A-IGT Houston Service Center is seeking a full-time Receptionist. 

The candidate will be an integral part of our organization, serving as the first point of contact for all customers, vendors, and future employee candidates upon arrival at the MD&A-IGT Houston Service Center. 

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
• Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
• Maintains the security and telecommunications system for the facility. 
• Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
• Facilitates, coordinates, and plans all site meetings, i.e., vendors, customers, and      MD&A potential candidates
• Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
• Operates the telecommunication system by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Organize, sort, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintains and tracks  internal office supply inventory. 
• Performs other administrative tasks assigned by management. 

Requirements

• Verbal and written communication skills to interact  clearly with customers, vendors, and other employees.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite 365. (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly.
• Time management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day.
• Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience  for all customers, such as being personable and attentive
