| Brief Summary of Job Description | You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for supporting the design and production of battery packs, battery chargers, and other related accessories for the U.S. Military directly and their subcontractors. As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating engineering designs into actionable work instructions, driving continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor, and applying lean manufacturing techniques. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into clear, step by step work instructions for production operators. Improving build processes through the integration of cutting edge technologies and automation. Leading root cause analysis of component nonconformances and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented. Providing technical guidance and on site support to operators to maximize performance and yield. Applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce cost, increase yields, and sustain continuous improvement cycles. The role requires strong analytical, critical thinking, and technical skills, often requiring a bachelor's degree in an engineering field like industrial or manufacturing engineering.Other duties may be assigned. | ||

Responsibilities
- As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating engineering designs into actionable work instructions, driving continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor, and applying lean manufacturing techniques.
- Translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into clear, step by step work instructions for production operators
- Improving build processes through the integration of cutting edge technologies and automation
- Leading root cause analysis of component non conformances and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented
- Providing technical guidance and on site support to operators (assembly workers and line leaders) to maximize performance and yield
- Applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce cost, increase yields, and sustain continuous improvement cycles
- Demonstrating a general understanding and familiarity of ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications.
- Demonstrating a general knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including epoxy dispensing, spot welding, soldering, and crimping.
Qualifications
- Effective project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with cross-functional groups (Engineering, Production, Testing, Quality, and Management.)
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and ITAR compliant
- Experience Level: Experienced Professional
- 4-year degree in Engineering is not necessary, however a good, solid assembly and troubleshooting experience is necessary.
