Complies with all company and OSHA Safety policies when completing work.
Provides support with the final preparation and packing of equipment prior to shipping; coordination of equipment freight and delivery; maintenance and orderly storage of shop tools, equipment and supplies.
Assists with delivery of parts and materials to customer sites; and other general support tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Supervisor and/or Shop/Resource Manager
Maintains clean work area, keeping spills, grease and debris to a minimum.
Performs preventative maintenance inspections and ensures timely and effective repair of any problems identified.
Interacts with various technicians, and administrative staff, vendors, and suppliers to provide shop and administrative assistance in a number of areas including maintenance of the spare parts inventory; parts & materials ordering, tracking, and receiving; light mechanical and electrical maintenance of the spare parts inventory; parts & materials ordering, tracking, and receiving; light mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks & repairs under the guidance of technicians or supervisors.
Completes repair orders.
Performs basic labor and skill tasks of a Shop Tech 1 and Shop Tech 2 without supervision. In addition, reads and understand job procedures (written instructions, construction procedures, replacing and assembly procedures and oral directives).
Demonstrates how to perform a known task or skill to a co-worker.
Proficient in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
Operates heavy equipment and vehicles (skid steer loaders, forklifts, power buggies, truck, etc.) safely and in a manner in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Proficient in the operation of hand-held air, electric, and hydraulic powered and non-powered tools and more complex equipment such as required for Shop Tech 1 and 2, but with no supervision.

Attends daily and weekly safety Tool Box meetings and participates in Jobsite Safety Analyses (JSA)
Performs work in strict compliance with jobsite/shop requirements and the Field Guide to Better Safety
Performs all work in compliance with Company's safety policies as well as industry standards
Assists team in ensuring jobsite/shop is maintained in a safe manner
Promotes 24/7 Safety Culture and exhibits a Safety 24/7 attitude in all situations
Reports immediately, accurately and in full detail all incidents
Is extremely safety conscious in all situations
Sets an example for others by demonstrating that safety is a core value
Wears all Personal Protection Equipment required by safety specifications

Physical Requirements
Able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator when required on specific jobsites
Able to move your hand, hand and arm together, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, assemble objects
Has visual acuity to see items clearly and sharply and to recognize small detail
Able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50lbs without assistance
Performs physical activity such as climbing ladders/scaffolding
Performs physical activity that requires considerable use of arms, legs, and moving whole body
Performs physical activity that requires balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, reaching
Physical capability to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
Able to handle and utilize various tools and equipment

Special Requirements
Willing to work 50-55 hour per week and have flexible work hours
Willing to work whenever/wherever needed, including night shift, out of town, etc
