Position Summary

The Project Manager position in the LIFT Lab and Learning Health Systems Collaborative will function as a planning and operations leader for complex clinical research trials and quality and outcomes improvement efforts that cut across the education, research, and clinical domains for the School of Health and Rehabilitation and College of Medicine. This position is responsible for overseeing and facilitating comprehensive project management activities, including clinical trial operations, Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and monitoring, and data reporting and analysis to support evidence-informed strategic planning. This role contributes to advancing healthcare delivery, research, and education efforts at the local, regional, and national levels. Current and emerging projects include, but are not limited to, physical activity programming for individuals with chronic brain injury and psychosocial support for individuals recovering from orthopedic trauma. 

 

Additional responsibilities will include regular management of relationships within the organization, with peer institutions, and sponsors/funders. The role may also support discussions and tasks that will help shape policy as they relate to the LIFT Lab and Learning Health Systems Collaborative projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and will be adept at coordinating complex, interdisciplinary projects and teams across educational, research, clinical, and community settings. 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 

Desired Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Teams. Experience with IRB navigation. Familiarity with academic medical center settings. Experience with clinical trials. Experience working with federal funders.
