Position Summary
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician will play a key role in supporting our podiatrists by assisting with clinical tasks, performing digital X-rays, and ensuring an excellent patient experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Perform digital X-rays in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Assist the podiatrist during examinations and minor procedures
- Handle patient education, wound care, and dressing changes as directed
- Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory
- Enter documentation and orders accurately in the EMR system
- Schedule follow-ups and coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) – required
- Current and valid X-Ray Technician license/certification – required
- Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or a similar specialty – preferred
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- EMR experience (preferred: eClinicalWorks)
