The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience with SolidWorks, PDM, and Simulation, as well as the ability to create robust CAD models.
- Support the hardware engineering team by designing, analysing, testing, and providing support of industrial automation systems
- Perform R&D to support new product initiatives
- Complete engineering calculations and maintain development documentation
- Apply DFM principles, generate fabrication drawings, and coordinate with vendors
- Develop build and assembly documentation
- Provide technical oversight of a small team of engineers
- Estimate project effort, cost, and timelines
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Robotics Engineering
Experience Required
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and Simulation
- Ability to create robust CAD models
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Some travel to client sites required - Up to 20%
