Arobas Personnel is looking for a Functional Analyst (SAP) for a contract position with one of its clients located in Montreal.
*Remote- 100% remote with occasional travel, regardless of office location *
Your day-to-day:
- Support business and PMO teams in demand management and project prioritization.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT projects.
- Contribute to system design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation including specifications, analysis, configuration, and testing deliverables.
- Perform peer reviews of design standards and documentation.
- Ensure smooth transition and handover from the project delivery team to the application support team.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex support and maintenance issues.
- Contribute to product, tool, and methodology decisions while keeping up with industry trends.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP advisors/partners.
- Support organizational change management efforts, including user training, impact analysis, and job aids.
Required skills:
- Experience in large-scale or international projects (10,000+ users).
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 3–4 years of hands-on SAP GTS configuration experience (key requirement).
- 7+ years of experience with SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, WM).
- Knowledge of compliance management, customs management, and trade preference management.
- Understanding of interfaces, APIs, and microservices.
- Interest in international trade and commerce.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, evolving business environments.
Assets:
- Experience with third-party integrations with SAP.
- Knowledge of UML, database queries, and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of S/4HANA processes and ETL tools.
- Knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
- Background in manufacturing, transportation, automotive, or aerospace sectors.
- Experience working with multi-site and international organizations.
