What to expect in this role

As our Recruitment and Retention Lead, you will help attract and retain exceptional talent, ensuring our residents consistently receive the highest standard of care. 

Recruitment
  • Lead and implement creative strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Build strong talent pipelines, reduce agency reliance, and meet recruitment targets.
  • Oversee the full recruitment journey including the candidate onboarding process. 
  • Administer the company’s sponsorship licence and comply with immigration regulations. 
  • Manage systems, metrics, and advertising to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with managers, digital partners, and community networks to promote Peverel Court Care.
Retention
  • Lead initiatives for employee engagement, career development, and wellbeing.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, health and wellbeing activities, and professional growth.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics and retention rates.
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain ‘good-leavers’ records.
Other Duties
  • The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time to meet the changing needs of the business. You may be expected to undertake additional tasks as appropriate and as requested by their manager. 
  • You may be required to work at any of the locations at which the business is conducted.
  • Working as part of the Head Office team,  providing support where needed and covering for holiday or sickness. 
40 hours per week

Up to £33,000 per annum

This role is based at our Head Office in Stone, Aylesbury

What we expect of you

  • Flexible to work across all company locations in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire; a valid driving license is desirable for attending each site. 
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills. 
  • Previous experience in a recruitment-related role (desirable but not essential). 
  • Enthusiasm for recruitment, retention, wellbeing, and enhancing the working environment to support engagement. 
  • Approachable, supportive, and willing to assist colleagues. 
  • A basic understanding of healthy lifestyles and health promotion.
  • Methodical, meticulous and structured approach to your everyday tasks.
  • Proven experience with IT programmes such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and a willingness to embrace new technology.
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills, and confidence engaging with people at all levels while maintaining confidentiality. 
  • A strong service mindset and flexible can-do approach.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making ability.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm and confidence to take the initiative.
