Major Responsibilities

  • Participate in full life cycle development using structured design methodologies including development, unit testing, code reviews and scrum
  • Work closely with senior software developers on assigned project
  • Accurately report project status to project facilitator
  • Follow source repository processes
  • Other duties as assigned by Software Engineering Manager

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related engineering field

Minimum Experience & Training Requirement

  • Understanding of software development and testing process
  • Programming skills in one or more modern object-oriented languages (C# preferred)
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Taking initiative and curious to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of data structures and design patterns
  • Experience with source control (git)
  • Familiar with WPF
  • Understanding of WPF and/or 3D graphics
  • Knowledge about robotics and geometrical planning
  • Understanding of multi-threaded parallel processing methodologies
  • Geometry and generic math skills
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
