Production Operator
Role Purpose
Using established processes and methods to produce polyurethane products.
Summary
Main Accountabilities (include but are not limited to)
- Set up: Identifying, assembling, maintaining, preparation, packaging and sorting of molds
- Casting: proper dispensing of urethane, mold assembling, mold disassembling, initial part inspection and waste management
- Finishing: repairing, curing, trimming, final inspection and packaging
- Machine Maintenance: daily calibration, temperature monitoring to maintain proper functioning equipment
- Suggests improvement of production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Troubleshoot machine, find solutions and escalate where necessary
- Escalates issues to leadership for resolution
- Record Keeping: maintain daily production and maintenance/repair records
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations.
- Properly maintain company supplied uniforms
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills
High School Diploma or GED 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/production environment and/or equivalent combination of experience and education As part of job enrichment, and at the company’s discretion, cross training in other areas will be given
