Key Responsibilities
Business Systems Support (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- Help test and review our new ERP system to make sure it works as expected.
- Assist in documenting processes and identifying where improvements can be made.
- Support end users with day-to-day questions or basic troubleshooting.
- Help with data entry, validation, and report checks.
Web Application Support (Python/Django)
- Assist in testing internal web applications and reporting issues to developers.
- Work with business users to understand what’s needed from each system.
- Help verify fixes, test new features, and update documentation.
- Provide feedback on ease of use and help identify potential improvements.
Data and IoT Support
- Learn how data flows from connected devices into our systems.
- Help verify that data is updating correctly in Power BI dashboards.
- Assist with setting up and testing basic data connections or integrations.
- Support data tagging, visualization, and reporting activities.
General Responsibilities
- Document test results, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support users across different departments and escalate issues when needed.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure smooth system operation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and automation projects.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central or NAV) or other ERP systems.
- Understanding of general IT concepts, databases, and web applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and basic Power BI.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Exposure to Python or Django web applications.
- Interest in IoT, data integration, or cloud technologies.
- Experience with Power Automate, Zapier, or similar tools.
- A desire to learn and grow in application support or data analytics.
