 The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We’re seeking a hands-on, experienced Weekend Supervisor to lead our Maintenance and Operations teams during weekend production. This role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and consistent execution of safety and quality standards while fostering teamwork across departments. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate Union-represented electrical, mechanical, and operations teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support maintenance technicians and operations personnel on Friday through Sunday shifts.
  • Prioritize, assign, and follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Lead and coordinate Teamster electrical, mechanical, and operations employees with fairness, respect, and clear communication.
  • Oversee production performance, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
  • Communicate and align with weekday leadership to maintain seamless operations and continuity.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for downtime, safety, or quality issues.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and reliability activities are completed per schedule.
  • Maintain accurate shift documentation, including equipment logs, downtime reports, and team performance.
  • Promote a positive, solutions-focused culture that values accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse, union-represented teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
  • Knowledge of safety programs, LOTO, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to work a Friday–Sunday schedule with flexibility for extended hours as needed.
  • Experience in food, beverage, or packaging manufacturing.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Technical certification or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or operations leadership role.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Bradenton, Florida, surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to be onsite in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in Bradenton, FL.
