Marketing Intern bei Yorktel

Yorktel is currently seeking a Marketing Intern.  This position is an unpaid internship and is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and digital strategy. The intern will assist with various marketing initiatives, including social media management, content creation, research, and campaign execution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and project coordination
• Assist in developing and scheduling social media content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor activities
• Help draft and edit marketing materials such as newsletters, blog posts, press releases, and promotional content
• Monitor social media analytics and prepare performance reports
• Assist in organizing marketing campaigns and virtual or in-person events
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new marketing ideas

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Social Media
• Copywriting
• Project Management
• Graphic design
• Event management
• Lead generation

Education and Experience:

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools (preferred but not required)

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

• Gain practical experience in marketing strategy and execution
• Learn to use digital marketing and analytics tools
• Build a professional portfolio of marketing projects
• Develop collaboration, communication, and time management skills

Physical Requirements:

• May require occasional lifting up to 25 LBS
• Requires extensive sitting, standing and walking
• Valid driver’s license 
• If permissible by applicable law, may be required as a condition of employment to complete a background check and/or drug test if required by law or by current or future contracts/clients/vendors, etc
• Must be willing to apply for security clearances, SSA Suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.

Compensation:

• This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available if coordinated through the intern’s educational institution.
