As a Racquets Sports Professional you will serve as a Wellness Manager, specializing in the organization and execution of a robust racket sports program as well as supporting the Clubs Wellness operation for the community/communities they serve.
JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure an industry-leading racket sports experience.
- Organize member racket sport group play and competitions.
- Provide on-court lessons, including clinics, lessons, and workshops to all skill level players for tennis and pickleball.
- Provide exceptional service to all Cliffs team members, club members and their guests, and vendor partners.
- Focus on details to provide high quality products and service to Members.
- Strive for continuous improvement in knowledge, quality, consistency, service, products, work environment, financial metrics, safety, wellness, and member satisfaction.
- Assist in the maintenance and preparation of racket sports courts and other Wellness Center amenities.
- Manage, organize, and market the racket sports program and other Wellness related activities.
- Embrace The Cliffs “Go First” initiative.
- Serve as a leader in the Cliffs Wellness operation.
- Assist in the operation of the Wellness Center.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience as tennis professional in a club or resort environment.
- Possess the ability to manage change effectively.
- Provide leadership to staff achieving goals and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the goals and objectives while inspiring employees to achieve those goals.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate teambuilding experience.
- Track record promoting an atmosphere of teamwork.
- Demonstrate ability to lead by example.
- Strong technical and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Exceptional detail to follow-up.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to continuously stand for up to a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, climb stairs, reach overhead, and lift to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work under strenuous and heated conditions.
