PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Under the supervision of the Department Supervisor, the Sub Assembler is responsible for assembling small moderately complicated units and components. The Sub Assembler will read blueprints and drawings to compose proper boards and materials. The Sub Assembler is responsible for tear down, rebuild, fitting, adjusting, and aligning to close tolerances. The product the Sub Assembler creates will stand up to strict inspection standards.
JOB INTERACTIONS AND INTERFACE
This role interacts with internal staff in: Final Assembly, Materials, Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Complete assembly or sub assembly of small, moderately complicated, units.
- Operate assembly related machines and equipment.
- Operate with the utmost attention to safety of self and others.
- Utilize cordless drills, tape measures, other tools required to assemble.
- Set up prep work for pre assembly.
- Work well within a team of professionals and independently.
- Comply and align daily tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Work to exceed WINCO’s quality and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
